PromptEdge is a prompt-generation platform for developers. It turns rough project ideas into highly detailed, production-ready prompts you can paste into AI coding assistants like Cursor, Copilot, or Claude to generate complete, shippable code.
You describe your project idea and optionally set project type, platform, technology, design style, auth, database, API, SEO and deployment needs. PromptEdge expands the idea, infers missing details, builds architecture and UI plans, enumerates edge cases, and produces a structured prompt with a continuation system, forbidden list, and self-check.
300–1000 lines depending on complexity — number of pages, features, auth, database, APIs, SEO and testing requirements. Simple projects are concise; complex SaaS platforms expand significantly. PromptEdge never artificially pads to a fixed length.
Yes. Prompts are plain text and work with any assistant that accepts long instructions — including Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, and others. Copy the prompt and paste it as your first message.
Yes. Generation, library access, copying, downloading, sharing, and history are free and require no account. Your generation history is stored locally in your browser.
Yes. Every generated and library prompt has a Copy button with Clipboard API support and a textarea fallback for older browsers. You'll see "Copied" feedback on success.
Yes. Download as .txt or .md — the filename is derived from the prompt title. Downloads use Blob URLs and are cleaned up automatically.
Next.js, Supabase, Firebase, Stripe, OpenAI API, Tailwind CSS, Prisma, and vanilla HTML/CSS/JS. The generator adapts architecture sections to your chosen stack — for example, Firebase prompts include security rules and listener cleanup.
Yes. Describe a mobile app or select Mobile-first PWA as the platform. The prompt will include PWA manifest, service worker, offline handling, large tap targets, and mobile-first layout.
Yes. SaaS prompts include organizations, memberships, roles, Stripe checkout and webhooks, usage metering, entitlements, and Row Level Security for multi-tenancy.
Yes. The library contains 15 production prompts (SaaS Dashboard, AI Chat, E-commerce, Portfolio, Landing Page, Blog, and more). Each has a complete spec you can copy, download, and share immediately.
